Shut Down the Everglades Detention Camp Protest and Rally

A United Action coordinated by 13 groups (listed below) from 5 Florida Counties standing together in solidarity!

This regional action unites voices from across the state to expose the cruelty, corruption, and taxpayer waste behind immigrant detentions. We are calling for real investment in our communities—not more cages.

Location: In front of the Everglades Detention Center entrance (For GPS: Dade-Collier Training and Transition Airport, 54575 East Tamiami Trail, Ochopee)

Saturday, August 23, 2025 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

We’ll gather across the street and remain off the entrance to keep the area clear.
